Be Still . . .

Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
(2 Corinthians 9:6-7 (NIV))
It is a Biblical principal that whatever you give, if given with the proper attitude, will return to you far greater than the gift.
It is important to remember that it is what is inside your heart when giving that really matters. If you give when you do not really wish to give, God sees your heart and will treat your gift accordingly. If you give with a cheerful heart, then it is truly a “GIFT” and will be treated as a true gift from the heart. After all, it is from the heart that all gifts should come. The ultimate gift from God came from His heart: the gift of His Son, Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior.
Do you give cheerfully, and have you accepted God’s gift to you?
