Be Still . . .

Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.
(Jeremiah 32:17 (NIV))
Did you catch that last sentence?
Nothing is too hard for you.
Are there things in your life that you think are beyond God’s ability to help? Are there things in your life that you think that even God cannot turn the situation around?
Nothing is too hard for God!
If you believe that there are things that God cannot do, then the god that you worship is not the God of the Bible. The god that you worship is one of your own creation and since you created him, he is limited in what he can do.
You need the God that created you!
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
(Psalms 139:14 (NIV))
Can you praise a god of your own creation and expect it to do what the one, true God can do?
I want you to repeat after me – “God, nothing is too hard for You!”

Be Still . . .
Devotionals for Daily Living
“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”
(Revelation 1:8 (NIV))
God is good all the time!
Yesterday, today and tomorrow, He is the same. He is the Alpha and the Omega.
Now that we are facing a new year, we must remember that God is God and He never changes. No matter what year, this will always be true!
He is the Lord of the beginning and the end and everything in between.

Be Still . . .

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”

God is good all the time! Yesterday, today and tomorrow, He is the same. He is the Alpha and the Omega. Now that we are facing a new year that has caught the public’s attention because of all of the computer issues and tabloid prophecies, we must remember that God is God and He never changes. No matter what happens when January 1, 2013 comes, God is still God.
