Be Still . . .

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.
(Psalms 107:1 (NIV))
In the midst of all that has happened and continues to happen in this world, are you still able to list things that you are thankful for?
If you are not able to answer this question with a list, then the enemy has already won!
All that we have to do is look at the depth of God’s love for us even in our sinful nature and that should be first and foremost on the list of every single person who professes a faith in Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.
(John 3:16-21 (NIV))
God, in His goodness, provided a way to redeem us even when we were not worthy.
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
(Romans 3:23 (NIV))
Giving thanks to the Lord should be forever on our lips and not only just on Thanksgiving!
Are you thankful for God’s love?
