Time is short! We don’t know what tomorrow will bring. We may not even have a tomorrow on this earth, yet we know who holds tomorrow. We know that He loves each of us enough to have created a way for us to escape the consequences of sin and death.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
(John 3:16 (NIV))
Don’t keep it for yourself! It was meant to be shared! It was and is such a wonderful gift of grace that it should be shared with the whole world. In fact, that is what we are told to do in this passage. We are to share it with anyone and everyone who will listen.
What if someone hadn’t shared the Gospel with you? What if they had decided to keep it all to themselves? It is the greatest treasure, the greatest gift that has ever been. Unlike worldly treasures, this treasure knows no limits. There is not enough money in the world to offer untold riches to every single person who has ever lived, yet that is exactly what we have with the Gospel. God’s love, grace and mercy are able to bestow on everyone who has ever lived endless riches beyond compare. In fact, worldly riches cannot buy this treasure. It is only available by receiving it as a gift. We are called to make sure as many people as possible receive this free gift.
Share the Gospel!
It is a gift of love, grace and mercy and it is totally free. Even your worst enemy will love to receive what you have claimed as your own, what you claim that you love.
