“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”
(Revelation 1:8 (NIV))
The Alpha and the Omega!
The beginning and the end!
The first and the last!
I am sure that there are other ways to say this, but I hope that you get the picture. God always has been and He always will be. He was here long before anything else and He will be here long after everything is gone. To keep things in perspective, we are but a small blip in time to God, yet, He loves us so much that He knows each of us intimately.
He knows our thoughts.
He knows our deepest desires.
He knows every hair on our head!
And, He loves us enough to have done something amazing for each of us.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
(John 3:16-18 (NIV))
I never ceased to be amazed by our God!
